The beneficiaries include students, farmers, entrepreneurs, professionals and business owners. The initiative, launched by Gosal in 2025, focuses on agri-business transformation, integrating AI with agriculture, marketing strategies, digital marketing and emerging career opportunities.

During the session, Gosal emphasised the need for authentic and data-driven AI implementation in agriculture through a forecasting model. He said claims in the market regarding AI are lacking real-world application.

Ramandeep Singh, director, SBS, elaborated on how AI is reshaping agri-business models, market strategies and supply chain efficiency, and opening new avenues for students and entrepreneurs.

“The collaboration with SBS alumni highlights a strong commitment towards empowering the agri-business ecosystem with practical AI knowledge, ensuring sustainable growth, innovation and global competitiveness,” he said.

Malwinder Singh, PAU alumni and member of the Global Farmer Network, and Pavitar Pal Singh Pangli shared insights into practical AI applications in agriculture and agri-businesses. They stressed on scalable and real-world solutions that can empower farmers and entrepreneurs while connecting global agricultural knowledge with local implementation.

From the digital business perspective, Komal Chopra Lekhi, founder, Aadvi Business Structures, highlighted how AI was transforming digital marketing and revenue generation, and enabling businesses to grow through AI tools, social media strategies and a strong digital presence.

The participants were awarded digital certificates.

Surbhi Lekhi, certified AI trainer, is also a part of the initiative. Gosal appreciated the efforts of PAU alumni in supporting the university’s vision of building AI literacy and preparing individuals for future-ready agri-business and digital careers.
