Anganwadi workers attend seminar on legal awareness

Ludhiana, October 21

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) today organised legal awareness seminars for anganwadi and ASHA workers and students of GHG Khalsa College, Sudhar, here.

CJM-cum-Secretary, DLSA, PS Kaleka, exhorted anganwadi and ASHA workers to extend cooperation in spreading legal awareness to the general masses, so that they could take benefit of welfare schemes.

Later, a seminar was held for students of the college. The CJM motivated them for guiding the needy section of society to avail free legal aid services being provided by the DLSA through its panel of 70 lawyers and also welfare schemes being run by it and the state government.
