MANDI AHMEDGARH: The campus of educational institutes reverberated golden with activities associated with the festival of Basant Panchami which is supposed to mark the end of winter season and onset of the spring.

The campus of educational institutes reverberated golden with activities associated with the festival of Basant Panchami which is supposed to mark the end of winter season and onset of the spring. Bhutta Group of Colleges Bhutta, Guru Nanak College of Education Lehra, Shanti Tara College for Girls Ahmedgarh, Victoria College for Women Dehliz road and Guru Har Krishan College Phallewal were among the institutes which buzzed with festive spirit as students attired in yellow participated in various cultural performances and flew kites.

Various fun games were also organised during the celebrations and students participated in various games with full zeal and enthusiasm. Jagdish Singh Garcha, Secretary Governing Council Bhutta College, Dr Neetu Handa principal GN College of Education, Chairman Dr Balwinder Singh Walia, President Sukhdev Singh Ahluwalia Barundi and Charan Preet Singh Dua addressed functions held at their respective institutes. Speakers said the festival signifies the happiness and brightens up our lives and bless us. Eom..Yellow attires dominate among students at Bhutta Group of Colleges near Ahmedgarh.
