Ludhiana, December 9
A free artificial limbs distribution camp was organised by the Maharaja Agarsen Sewa Sangh, Ludhiana at Shri Laxami Narayan Dharamshala, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, today. Artificial limbs, calipers, crutches, tricycles and hearing aid were distributed among 46 physically challenged persons during the camp.
Councilor Varsha Rampal and Shiv Kumar were the main guests during the camp. Maharaja Agarsen Sewa Sangh members also felicitated Varsha Rampal and Shiv Kumar for their contribution towards social welfare works.
This was the 4th annual artificial limbs distribution function organized by the organization. Chairman of Maharaja Agarsen Sewa Sangh Ashwani Garg spoke about various social welfare works being carried out by the Sabha. “Artificial limbs were distributed among 46 needy persons during the camp. The beneficiaries included persons from Ludhiana, Moga, Ferozepur and some other cities of Punjab. We would continue our social welfare works in the future also”, said Ashwani Garg.
President Ajay Goel, Senior Vice President Ajit Singla, General Secretary Vinay Gupta, Finance Secretary Tejinder Bansal, Laxmi Narayan Mandir Chairman Suraj Jayoti and Dr. Avinash Jindal also graced the occasion.
