The 81st annual athletics meet of Kundan Vidya Mandir (KVM) concluded after the three-day celebrations of sportsmanship, teamwork and youthful energy. Students from all sections participating enthusiastically in a wide range of events.

Various track and field events, including the 1,500 m, 800 m, 400 m, 200 m, 4×100 m relay, long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin throw, lemon-spoon race, skipping, tug-of-war were held during the meet.

The chief guest for the closing ceremony, Tarique Kalim, Principal Commissioner, Income Tax, Ludhiana, presided over the grand finale and presented medals and trophies to winners.

Ashwani Kumar, secretary, Kundan Lal Trust, and Pankaj Joshi, principal, welcomed the chief guest and acknowledged the hard work and discipline displayed by all participants.

As the ceremony progressed, contingents of the six houses marched out with impeccable coordination, marking the formal conclusion of the meet.

Dr Tejeshwar Dyal Singh, head of the Physical Education Department, proposed the vote of thanks. The event concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
