Athletics meet held at GHG Khalsa College

Guru Har Gobind (GHG) Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, organised its 73rd annual athletics meet, where students from degree, pharmacy and education colleges vied for top honours in various track and field events.

Navjot Kaur and Parkash from the degree college, Janvi Oberoi and Manraj Singh from the pharmacy college, and Prahlad Vishwas and Muskan Thakur from the education college were named best athletes.

Neeraj Jain, joint managing director, Vardhman Textiles Limited, declared the meet open. He was accorded welcome by Manjit Singh Gill, president, college governing council; SS Thind, secretary; Inderjit Singh, Satvinder Kaur and Pargat Singh Garcha, principals of the three colleges; and the staff.
