ASMITA Khelo India 3x3 basketball senior women league matches concluded at Guru Nank Stadium in Ludhiana on Thursday.

The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Parminder Singh Bhandal, DCP (Law and Order) and Arjuna Awardee in Basketball, while Harpal Singh DCP (Crime) and Mandeep Singh ADCP (IV) were the guests of honour at the event.

Bhandal asked all the players to value discipline, focus and hard work to shine in sports. Harpal, too, asked players to maintain dedication, while Mandeep praised the discipline of players.

A total of 16 matches were played during the event, including four to decide the top three positions on a league basis. Khalsa Club, Ludhiana, emerged winner, while the Guru Nanak Stadium team and Guru Nank Club teams bagged the second and third

spots, respectively.

The arrangements for the matches were supervised by coaches Jaipal Singh, Saloni, Narinder Pal, Ravinder and Sukhvinder Singh. Gurpreet Singh Toor and Goyal. PBA general secretary Teja Singh Dhaliwal thanked the guests and Khelo India authorities and Punjab Sports Department for organising the event

in Ludhiana.
