Ludhiana, December 4
Girl students of BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, stole limelight as they made clean sweep, winning all three titles (U-14, 17 and 19 years) in the Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex Badminton Championship. The championship was conducted at BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School from December 2 to 4 in which competition for boys and girls in three age groups was organised.
Around 350 players drawn from 22 schools took part in this championship. Besides, hosts BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School emerged winners in the boys’ U-19 category while Manav Rachna International School romped home champions in the boys’ U-14 section and DAV Public School, BRS Nagar branch, came out triumphant in the boys’ U-17 group.
