Beekeepers get training at PAU

LUDHIANA: As many as 55 beekeepers participated in the monthly training camp of Progressive Beekeepers Association (PBKA) conducted by the directorate of Extension Education of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) today.

As many as 55 beekeepers participated in the monthly training camp of Progressive Beekeepers Association (PBKA) conducted by the directorate of Extension Education of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) today.

Beekeeping expert Dr Amit Chaudhary dwelt on the management of honey bee colonies in the summer season, while Dr Ramandeep Singh Jassal, an expert from the School of Business Studies, delved on marketing strategies for honey.

The associate director of Skill Development Centre, Dr TS Riar, welcomed the resource persons and the beekeepers. Ravinder Bhalooria proposed the vote of thanks.
