To target the migrant vote share in the industrial town, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised the Purvanchal Samman Rally in the Giaspura area, a hub of the migrant population.

This was the first political rally of the BJP in the industrial town, where a sizeable migrant population resides. Haryana Chief Minister (CM) Nayab Singh Saini addressed the rally along with Ashwani Sharma, working president of the BJP in Punjab.

The saffron party presented a show of strength in the industrial town where migrants from UP and Bihar live in large numbers. Even during the Parliament elections, BJP candidate Ravneet Bittu got maximum votes from urban constituencies, including East, West, South, North, and Central. The migrant vote share is visible in South, East, North, and some parts of the central constituency.

A large number of migrants turned up at the venue. Saini started his address by uttering 'Ram Ram' and the people present in the venue reciprocated loudly.

Saini read out the list of achievements of the Haryana government and claimed that most promises made at the time of elections were fulfilled. "I assured that if you vote the BJP to power in Punjab in the upcoming assembly election, all the public welfare schemes of the centre will be implemented here in Punjab like they are doing in Haryana, and our Purvanchali brothers and sisters will benefit.

Saini, while making a scathing attack on the ruling Aam Aadmi Party, said that AAP had failed on all fronts as the party couldn't deliver what it promised to garner voters at the time of assembly elections in Punjab in 2022.

"This is the Punjab Bachao programme, I am here in the industrial town to interact with the Puravanchalis. Whenever I visit Punjab, the heartbeat of the ruling party starts beating fast out of fear of being exposed. Despite AAP having stopped the buses of BJP workers coming to the venue, the presence of people in the rally in large numbers has taken the AAP leaders by surprise," said Saini.

Saini, while lambasting the AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal, said, "Kejriwal used to say he is katar immandar, but his face was exposed as he and his ministers were jailed on corruption charges. In terms of corruption, Kejriwal-led AAP has even left behind Congress party leaders who were also neck deep in corruption.”

Saini asserted that most of the promises made by the BJP in the last assembly elections were fulfilled by the Haryana government, including the Rs 2100 per month to women in Lado Lakshmi Yojna, free dialysis for patients in all government hospitals and government colleges in Haryana, LPG cylinder at Rs 500, MSP to farmers on crops, etc. Saini went on to say that in Punjab, AAP even failed to pay the Rs 1000 per month announced during the polls in Punjab.
