Block-level Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan to begin today

Ludhiana, September 2

The block-level games under the Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan Season 3 will begin on Tuesday. The games are being organised by the Punjab Sports Department under the auspices of Sports and Youth Services, Punjab, in which players between the age groups of U-14 and above 60 will be seen in action.

Competition in athletics, volleyball (smashing and shooting) will be held from September 3 to 5 and in football, kho-kho, kabaddi (national and circle style) from September 5 to 7. If any competition was not completed, then it would be held from September 9 to 11, read a circular issued by the District Sports Officer, Ludhiana.

The Naresh Chander Stadium, Khanna; village stadium at Sidhwan Bet; GHG Khalsa College ground, Sudhar and Santokh Singh Margind Stadium, Dullay village, are the venues for the games to be held from September 3 to 5.

The games will also be held at Government Senior Secondary School ground, Siahr village; village stadium, Bhamipura near Dana Mandi; Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Machhiwara; Latala village stadium; Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana; Government Senior Secondary School ground, Sahnewal; Kila Raipur stadium; Mehma Singh Wala village stadium; Sant Ishar Singh Stadium, Ghaloti village; Raikot stadium and Government Senior Secondary School ground, Manki village.
