BMW car catches fire after colliding with electric fire

Driver allegedly lost control of car, no loss of life reported

Two youths of Kundanpuri area had a narrow escape after their luxury car, a BMW, caught fire in a collision. The car crashed into an electric transformer near Pahwa Dharamshala in Upkar Nagar area, on Tuesday morning.

Although the exact reason behind the mishap is yet to be ascertained, preliminary investigations suggest that the driver of the speeding BMW car, descending from Jhandu Chowk crest, lost control of the car and the collision took place.

The fire was doused by the fire brigade, and power supply remained suspended in the area due to this incident.
