An information booklet on Dengue was released at Hero DMC Heart Institute by Prem Kumar Gupta, Secretary, DMCH Managing Society.

The DMCH had earlier released a booklet on ‘COVID’ when its spread was at its peak and the booklet was widely appreciated by the general public.

Now, as dengue is making inroads and its cases show rising trend during the period, an effort was made to make people aware about various health issues related with dengue.

According to co-authors, Vipin Kumar, assistant professor, Department of Medicine and D Bishav Mohan, professor of Cardiology in HDHI, every year thousands of patients suffer from dengue and precious lives are lost. There is a lot of anxiety and panic in the public because of incomplete information. However, there are many ways to prevent it and treat the disease which can save many lives. An attempt was made to discuss all these issues in the information booklet.
