Ludhiana, June 16
A brother-sister duo died in a road accident, while their parents suffered serious injuries after a rashly driven Tata 407 rammed into their Activa scooter from the rear near Basti Jodhewal chowk here today.
The deceased have been identified as Mandeep (14) and his sister Panku (10), while their parents have been identified as Paramjit (36) and his wife Archana (34). They are undergoing treatment at a hospital, where their condition is stated to be critical.
The Tata 407 driver fled from the spot leaving the vehicle behind. The police have registered a case against the driver.
