LUDHIANA: The BSNL Employees Union organised a blood donation camp on the eve of the 13th Formation Day of the Union at Bharat Nagar Chowk exchange today.

Ludhiana, March 22

The BSNL Employees Union organised a blood donation camp on the eve of the 13th Formation Day of the Union at Bharat Nagar Chowk exchange today.

Balbir Singh, circle secretary, said the Ludhiana district Union was continuously organising blood donation camp from the past 12 years.

Ridhesh Kumar Mishra, General Manager, inaugurated the camp. He said blood donation was a noble cause as it cannot be manufactured in a factory.

Ho said the BSNL was providing affordable service in telecom sector and also participates in social activities.

Jatinder Pal, vice president, CITU, and Daljit Kumar Gora, assistant general secretary, CITU, said the government was trying to destabilise the BSNL and retrench employees in the name of VRS.
