Budget visionary for countrymen: BJP leaders
Local leaders of the BJP has termed the Budget 2025-26 announced by the Union Government as visionary for countrymen. Though the reaction comes after 13 days of the Budget announcement, the local party leaders said it would be a road map for a “developed” India.
During an interaction with the media, senior leader of the state BJP Anil Sarin said everyone was praising the Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
He said it would fulfil the dream of a “developed” India. It would give a boost to investment and consumption.
Sarin said the Budget had given great respite to the middle class as there would be no income tax for those drawing salaries up to Rs 12 lakh per annum. Even the tourism industry would see a positive change with the Budget. The income tax rebate for senior citizens has also increased to Rs 1 lakh from the existing Rs 50,000. Farmers too would be benefitted from the Budget.
He added that MSMEs and other small industries would also witness growth. Number of MBBS seats were also increased and those dreaming to become doctors would get more opportunities.
