Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Aman Arora on Saturday visited Shivpuri temple in Khanna where two thieves had committed theft and desecrated the lingam on the intervening night of August 14 and 15.

Notably, the temple committee members had given an ultimatum to the Khanna police to arrest the suspects by Sunday else they would again lay siege to the highway. The minister was accompanied by Khanna MLA Tarunpreet Singh Saund, Ludhiana DIG Dhanpreet Kaur and Khanna SSP Ashwini Gotyal.
