Career counselling for students through webinar

Ludhiana, July 5

The Government College for Girls, here, organised an online group counselling webinar in collaboration with the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE), Ludhiana.

The programme was organised under the guidance of principal Paramjit Singh Grewal, vice-principal Rakesh Kumar, in-charge, career and counselling cell of the college, Gupreet Kaur and Sharanjit Kaur Parmar. Around 500 students from various streams took part in the week-long event that was chaired by Nidhi Singhi, career counsellor. Dr Nidhi guided students about career options after graduation and postgraduation and cleared their doubts.

College holds week-long counselling event

The career counseling cell of the Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, organised a week-long programme on career counseling in collaboration with the DBEE from June 25 to July 3. It was organised under the guidance of the internal quality assurance cell.

The objective of the event was to guide graduate and PG students from various streams to understand the existing circumstances of the pandemic and prepare for challenges in terms of career designing and job opportunities. — TNS
