Clerk complains against official for slapping him

Ludhiana, December 2

A clerk and an officer of the MC, Ludhiana, had entered into heated arguments while on duty. The clerk has given a complaint to the MC Commissioner on Wednesday, alleging that a health officer has slapped him. It is learnt that the Additional Commissioner visited the office to probe the matter on Thursday. A member of employees’ union said efforts were on to resolve the issue. Additional Commissioner Aadiya Dachalwal said he was inquiring the matter. The health officer said she did not slap the clerk. — TNS
