LUDHIANA: The Congress government led by the Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh, has failed to poll keep promises, said SAD president Sukhbir Badal on Wednesday.

The Congress government led by the Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh, has failed to poll keep promises, said SAD president Sukhbir Badal on Wednesday.

The former Deputy Chief Minister, who was addressing a ‘poll khol rally’ at Mullanpur Dakha added that SAD would not allow the Captain-led Congress government charge electricity bills for tubewells from farmers.

“Farmers should inform Akali workers whenever power corporation officials come to install electricity meters at their tubewells. SAD workers will not allow officials to install electricity meters at tubewells,” he said.

While addressing the rally Former minister Bikram Majithia alleged that the Congress had grabbed power in various Municipal Councils and Corporations forcibly.

Former MLA from Mullanpur Dakha, Manpreet Ayalicriticised the Congress government for failing to fulfil poll promises and the AAP MLA from Mullanpur Dakha, HS Phoolka, for not to carrying out development in his constituency.
