Ludhiana cops target hooliganism near women’s education institutions

As many as 29 challans were issued against traffic violators, besides impounding of three vehicles, during an enforcement drive of the Ludhiana Police Commissionerate carried out against youths loitering around women’s educational institutes.

ADCP (Traffic) Gurpreet Kaur Purewal, who led the cops during a special drive near Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, informed that the action targeted multiple areas of focus, each meant to curb hooliganism.

Purewal added that a targeted operation was conducted against those causing noise pollution through modified motorcycles.
