The Entrepreneurship Club (GGNIMT), in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), successfully hosted Spring Fest 2026 on Saturday, drawing vibrant participation from students across multiple disciplines. The event celebrated creativity, culture and innovation, creating an energetic atmosphere of collaboration.
Prof Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director of GGNIMT and GGNIVS, lauded the efforts of the organising teams for creating an engaging platform that nurtures creativity, leadership and entrepreneurial skills. He encouraged students to actively engage in such activities for holistic development alongside their academic pursuits.
Dr Harpreet Singh, Principal of GGNIMT, emphasised the value of experiential learning, noting that events like Spring Fest play a crucial role in building confidence, communication skills and innovative thinking among students.
Popular stalls such as Basant Bites, Karachi Food Stall, Sassy Nails, and Bone Fire Pizza attracted large crowds, adding an entrepreneurial edge to the event. Cultural performances further enhanced the fest’s vibrant atmosphere, showcasing the diverse talents of students.
Spring Fest 2026 featured a range of competitive and recreational activities, including solo and group dance performances, an inter-class tug-of-war competition, and a variety of food, fashion, and entertainment stalls. The tug-of-war competition was a major highlight, with the following winners:
