Ludhiana: HVM Convent Senior Secondary School, Karamsar Colony, celebrated Teej on the school premises. The girls came dressed in traditional attires. The festival was set up on the school premises with different stalls. Children displayed sweets, bangles, jewellery and handicrafts. They were very excited and keen to play on the swings and tapped their feet on different traditional songs. The event was a grand success. School president DP Sharma, Chairman Dilbagh Singh and the esteemed members of the management sent their wishes and greetings to the children and Sunita Kumari, Principal, applauded the students for putting up a great show to celebrate the day.

Students cherish Friendship bond

Drishti Dr R C Jain Innovative Public School celebrated the sacred relation of friendship. On this occasion, Grade III students gave a presentation where they highlighted the importance of friendship. Little learners were extremely enthusiastic to showcase their talent through genuine expressions and feelings. Students emphasised on the importance of nurturing our friendship with mother nature. The invaluable gems taught everyone a great lesson by showing us that it takes a lifetime of love and dedication to keep a friendship going and growing. Principal Manisha Gangwar truly appreciated the efforts put by students and teachers who guided them.

Session on Creative Careers

Over 600 students and teachers of BCM Arya took part in an interactive session on ‘Creative Careers’ by actor-director Viveck Vasvani. A warm floral and oral welcome was accorded to him by the school managing committee. Vaswani acted in over 100 films and numerous television serials. He has been a mentor to numerous actors, including Shah Rukh Khan, Raveena Tandon and produced 13 films and three TV Serials. He is also working as Dean of School of Media Studies, Pearl Academy. Viveck Vaswani was accompanied with Ankur Jain, director-educational partnerships, Pearl Academy and Sumit Wason, senior manager-educational partnership, Pearl Academy. Viveck kept the students engrossed for more than an hour giving insight into modern age careers viz. film-making, advertising, celebrity management, acting, and many more. Dr Paramjit Kaur, Principal, proposed the vote of thanks.

Inter-school debate competition

Ludhiana East ( Khanna) Sahodaya Schools complex conducted inter-school debate competition (Hindi and English) for the session 2022-23 at Swami Chhagan Lal Lala Hans Raj Jain Public Senior Secondary School, Amloh Road, Khanna. Pragya Jain, SP (investigation cell), Khanna, was the chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony. In the English debate competition, Drishti got the third position from Delhi World Public School, Ludhiana, and Anaad Partap Singh bagged the second position from Oxford Sen Sec School, Payal. The first position was given to Ripanjot Kaur of Green Grove Public School, Khanna, and one consolation prize was given to Jasnoordeep Kaur from Nankana Sahib Public Sen Sec School, Budhewal. Principal Meenakshi Phull and Jain Group of Institutions’ managing body along with chief guest, distributed the prizes among the winners.

Teej Celebrated with fervour

Students of MGM Public School, Urban Estate, Phase-1, Dugri, celebrated Teej with fervour on the school campus. The campus was decorated with swing and items related to Teej. Kids and teachers had a gala time. Giddha and bhangra performance was presented by children. The tiny tots and teachers were dressed in vibrant punjabi outfits. Kheer and malpuras were served. Principal Usha extended warm Teej wishes to the children and staff members.

Job fair organised

The Industry-Institute Interface & Placement Cell under the guidance of IQAC organised two-day state level “Job Fair” at Shree Atam Vallabh Jain College. The job fair was open for all the graduates and post graduates of Ludhiana and other areas of Punjab. The president of the college managing committee Komal Jain and Principal of the college Dr Sandeep Kumar appreciated the college and companies for coming forward to give opportunities to eligible candidates.
