Date to have admission registers signed extended

LUDHIANA: The date for getting admission registers of affiliated and associated schools of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) countersigned by the PSEB depot manager has been extended till September 30.

The date for getting admission registers of affiliated and associated schools of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) countersigned by the PSEB depot manager has been extended till September 30. The step to get the registers countersigned was started to stop dummy admissions.

After receiving representations from various schools, the date has been extended. The fees has also been reduced from Rs 10,000 to Rs 5,000.

Representatives of various schools had to first get their registers verified at one counter and then submit a fee of Rs 500 before getting the registers signed by the depot manager.
