DMCH holds public health awareness programme

LUDHIANA: A public health awareness programme was conducted by the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) at Sonalika International Tractors Limited, Hoshiarpur.

A public health awareness programme was conducted by the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) at Sonalika International Tractors Limited, Hoshiarpur. As many as 335 employees were examined at a medical check-up camp at the programme.

The team consisted of doctors and technical staff from various specialties, including general medicine, gastroentrology, general surgery, gynaecologists and orthopaedics.

At the camp, blood sugar testing, ECG, blood pressure check-up and prescribed medicines were provided free-of-cost by DMCH. The participants were also educated about good eating habits and activities to be avoided to live a healthy life.
