The Municipal Corporation today launched a cleanliness drive on 34 major roads of the city. To give the city a clean look, such drives will be conducted at every weekend, said MC officials.
Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu, Municipal Commissioner Pardeep Kumar Sabharwal, Joint Commissioner Kulpreet Singh and Councillor Mamta Ashu flagged off the cleanliness drive near bus stand.

According to information, the MC will ensure cleaning of roads and green belts during the drive.

Safai karamcharis were seen cleaning roads. According to the MC officials, the civic body has started work to repair potholes. Steps are being taken to improve the solid waste management system in the city. The MC aims to improve its ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2021.
