Ludhiana: The psychology department of Khalsa College for Women organised an expert lecture on ‘Careers after BA – A Beginners Guide’. Dr Neha Manchanda an eminent psychologist elaborated on how the study of psychology could provide a platform for personality development as well as successful career later on. She provided an insight in to her own work life as an organisational psychologist and gave practical tips on how to become one. This was followed by a training session on how to make oneself more employable by inculcating various ‘hot skills’ required in different job profiles in the employability market these days. 

Inter-college quiz competition

An inter-college quiz competition was organised at Government College for Girls by the Department of Geography in collaboration with association of Punjab Geographers in the premises of Government College for Girls to commemorate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. The chief guest on the occassion was Principal, Dharam Singh Sandhu from SCD Government College. Five rounds on National and International Geography were conducted during the competition. TNS
