As many as 18 youths attended a five-day training course on ‘Enhancement in Nutritional Value through the Use of Cereals, Pulses, Millets and other Crops’ held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) under the guidance of Extension Education Director Dr GS Buttar.

Associate Director (Skill Development) Dr Rupinder Kaur said the university was promoting the use of less popular crops such as pulses and millets, the value of which could be increased through their addition in the daily diet.

Technical coordinator Jaswinder Kaur Brar highlighted the importance of green leafy vegetables in our diet.
