MACHHIWARA: A foetus was found in the Sirhind Canal near Garhi village after its water level was reduced on Saturday.



Machhiwara, November 17

A foetus was found in the Sirhind Canal near Garhi village after its water level was reduced on Saturday. A few persons noticed a female foetus and informed the police. A police team got the foetus removed from the canal. Machhiwara SHO Sukhnaj Singh said the foetus seemed to be of six-seven months. A case has been registered against unidentified persons. — TNS
