Khanna Sadar police claimed to have arrested four persons and recovered a huge quantity of intoxicants from their possession.

The arrested have been identified as Satnam Singh Satta from Kot Sekhon, Rajwinder Singh from Kathunangal, and Gagandeep Singh and Paramvir Singh from Barmalipur village.

Gursharandeep Singh Grewal, Khanna SSP, said the police, led by Baljinder Singh, Khanna Sadar SHO and SI Akash Dutt, were patroling at the main highway to Panaich village when they saw four persons who tried to flee after seeing the police party. They threw their bag but were nabbed. On checking, the police recovered 280 intoxicated capsules and 500 intoxicated Lomotil tablets from their possession.
