GADVASU incubator formalises agreements with emerging startups

The Vety and Livestock Innovation and Incubation Foundation (VLIIF) of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University has signed incubation agreements with seven emerging startups. The agreements underscore a strategic effort to foster innovation and support pioneering ventures in inclusive technology, a university official said.
Dr Inderjeet Singh, vice-chancellor, said the seven startups — Chimertech Pvt Ltd, Agristar Animal Solution Pvt Ltd, JustBark, Bioadaptis, BG Innovatech OPC Private Limited, Grobiz and Bharti International Company — have joined VLIIF’s incubation programme.
Dr Singh sid the programme was designed to accelerate the growth of early-stage companies and drive innovation within the veterinary and livestock sectors. By joining the programme, these startups would have access to a comprehensive support system, including mentorship from industry experts, access to cutting-edge research facilities, and opportunities for networking and collaboration, he said, adding that the day’s event represented a pivotal moment in the varsity’s mission to catalyse innovation within the livestock and dairy sectors.
Dr RS Sethi, Director of VLIIF and Principal Investigator of Project NIDHI, signed the agreements on behalf of the foundation. He said the formalisation of the agreements highlighted VLIIF’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of industry leaders and reinforced its role as a catalyst for transformative change in the veterinary and livestock domains.
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Dr PS Brar, Director of VLIIF and Director of Extension Education, along with Dr Sunil Kumar Khatkar, Dr Harsh Panwar and Dr Manvesh Kumar Sihag. Dr Brar emphasised the significance of such collaborations in driving agricultural innovation.
