Girl honoured with scholarship

Ludhiana, November 19

The Navchetna Child Welfare Committee, working for child rights and social issues, under the guidance of president Sukhdhir Sekhon, and general secretary, Surinder Singh Kang, honoured an adopted girl with one year scholarship and stationery.

Sekhon said four years ago the committee adopted Gauri, a student of GPS, Ayali Kalan, and Navchetna helped her in her studies these years through scholarship and other facilities. Today, Navchetna gave another cheque of scholarship, stationery and uniform to her. — TNS
