GLADA issues 2 notices over building violations
Unauthorised commercial activity, construction in Ayali area
Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) has issued two notices over alleged building plan violations in the Ayali area here, said officials.
They said the notices were issued on March 3 to Radhika Gupta and Roshni.
The notice to Gupta pertains to unauthorised commercial activity and constructing beyond the sanctioned building plan.
Roshni got the notice for violating the approved plan by constructing a basement and three floors instead of the sanctioned structure.
Sandeep Kumar, Chief Administrator, GLADA, said the authority is enforcing a strict zero-tolerance policy against unauthorised and unplanned constructions.
Kumar appealed to the public to undertake construction in accordance with building plans approved by the competent authority. He added that violations will result in cancellation of the building plan and action as per applicable rules, including sealing and demolition.
