Had objected to violation of social distancing: Doctor

Ludhiana, June 18

Reacting to the video that had gone viral on Wednesday, Dr Suman Puri, wife of principal of the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) Dr Sandeep Puri, said it was her objection to violation of social-distancing norms that lead to arguments with her neighbours in Kitchlu Nagar. Dr Suman Puri, in-charge of Gynaecology Unit 2 in the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department in the DMCH, said as a responsible, she objected to violation of social-distancing norms.

She claimed that residents were harassing her after she had lodged a complaint that some residents were doing illegal kitty parties in the park and playing cards in the park since one month. — TNS
