A fine century by Harpal (111 runs off 70 balls) helped Sutlej Cricket Academy beat Elevens Club by four wickets in an exhibition cricket match played at the Palm Garden Cricket Stadium here today.
Batting first, Elevens Club posted a challenging total of 216 runs after losing six wickets in 40 overs. The main feature of their innings was a useful contribution with the bat by Gopi and Akshad. Gopi remained unbeaten on 91 runs which came off 70 balls with the help of six boundaries and five sixes while Akshad chipped in 48 runs, studded with seven hits over the ropes.
For the winning side, Yuvraj Singh claimed two wickets and Vijay Kashyap took one wicket.
