Hotel employees attacked

The general manager of a prominent hotel located on Ferozepur road, his driver, and supervisor were attacked by four unidentified men. The incident occurred while they were returning to their home in their car. The Sadar police registered a case against the four unidentified persons and launched a probe.

GM Sunil Patnaik told the incident occurred on February 6 when he, along with his driver Baljit Singh and security supervisor Tejinder Singh, were returning home to Omaxe from hotel in their vehicle. According to the victim, when they reached the Kartar Singh Petrol Pump on Pakhowal, a motorcyclist hit their vehicle from behind. When the driver and security supervisor got out of the car and questioned him, the motorcyclist apologised. Meanwhile, three to four unidentified men, one of whom had his face covered, came, opened the car window, and began assaulting the businessman. When the driver and security supervisor tried to save them, the attackers also beat them up.
