How a Ludhiana man, on way home from work, lost his Harley Davidson

FIR registered 17 days after the incident

Two motorcycle-borne miscreants allegedly robbed a man of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle after threatening him while he was returning home from work.

Seventeen days after the incident, Division No 8 police registered a case against the two unidentified accused based on a complaint filed by Madhav Goyal, a resident of Gandhi Nagar, and started an investigation.

In his complaint, Madhav said that he worked as an accountant at Ghumar Mandi. On the day of the incident, at around 7 pm, he left his workplace and was heading home on his motorcycle.

When he reached near Pavilion Mall at Session Chowk, two youths on another motorcycle overtook him and blocked his path. They allegedly abused him, snatched the keys, dragged him off the bike, and fled with the vehicle after pushing him aside.

Investigating officer ASI Rajesh Kumar said a case had been registered.
