A team of the Municipal Corporation took action against around 10 illegal constructions and an illegal colony in Zone A today. The illegal colony situated near Sanyas Nagar was demolished.
The team was led by ATP Harwinder Singh.
An MC official said two illegal constructions and one shop were demolished at Phambra Colony and the nearby area respectively. Four illegal constructions were demolished at Sanyas Nagar and Kailash Nagar. Besides, two illegal constructions were demolished at Mahavir Homes and one illegal shop was razed near Mahavir Colony.
Meanwhile, an illegally constructed building in Zone A was also sealed during the drive.
