The Arya College organised an industrial trip for MCom students to Mrs Bector''s Cremica Food Industries Ltd. Fifty students were taken to the biscuit manufacturing unit and were explained about various procedures.



The Arya College organised an industrial trip for MCom students to Mrs Bector's Cremica Food Industries Ltd. Fifty students were taken to the biscuit manufacturing unit and were explained about various procedures. The students were informed about maintaining quality and hygine norms and had firsthand experience of how theoretical concepts are applied in real life. An interactive session was held by HR Manager, quality and production head.

Students bring laurels

Students of the Kamla Lohtia SD College once again proved their mark in co-curricular activities by winning two prizes in inter-college declamation contest organised by the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital Youth Club at Dumra auditorium, DMC Hero Heart, on topic ‘Say yes to life, No to drugs’. In total 11 colleges participated in the event. Shivam Mahajan and Gaurav Mangar won trophy for the college.

I-Day, Teej celebrated

Students of the DD Jain College of Education celebrated Independence Day and Teej festival with great zeal. All students and the taff of the college dressed up in traditional attitre. Students participated in various events, including mehndi, rangoli, nail art contest, and gave speech, recited poems and sang songs highlighting sacrifices of martyrs.

Partap College of Education

Teej festival was celebrated with grandeur by students of the Partap College of Education. Students participated in folk arts, including giddha, songs and boliyan. Principal Dr Balwant Singh congratulated students who participated in the event. He added that Teej is a festival of daughters and urged students to enjoy the event. On the occasion, Anu was crowned traditional customary ancient Punjabi dress and Deepika won the title tiyan di raunak.

Seminar on professionalism

The students Forum Ludhiana Management Association organised a presentation on “Evaluation of a professional” at the Khalsa Institute of Management and Technology for Women. More than 200 students from the GNIMT, GNE, PAU, Gulzar Group of Institutes participated in the event. Raghav Chaudhary, CEO, Crescendo Global was the guest speaker. Chaudhary discussed how various companies evaluate young professionals. Dr Harpreet Kang, chairperson, Students Forum Ludhiana Management Association graced the occasion with her presence.
