The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police headquarters and security Deepak Pareek today held a meeting with the representative of private security agencies in which several representatives took part.
The ADCP made the owners of security agencies aware of the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act and about the time to time instructions issued by the ADGP Security Controlling Authority Private Security Agencies Punjab, Chandigarh.
Owners also raised issue of appointment of unlicenced security personnel by jewelers, hospitals, and other big commercial establishments.
