International stars felicitated at Shastri Badminton Hall in Ludhiana
The academy awarded cash prizes to seven of its players
Ludhiana Badminton Academy president MK Chopra on Thursday felicitated international stars HS Prannoy and Rohan Kapoor at the city’s iconic Shastri Badminton Hall. Academy’s honorary secretary Anupam Kumaria was also present on the occasion.
Prannoy and Kapoor interacted with young shuttlers and shared professional insights and training tips. The players at the academy are being coached by international player and coach Pradnya Gadre Chopra.
The academy awarded cash prizes to seven of its players who represented the state in the National Badminton Championships in their respective age categories during the recently held at Odisha, Vadodara and Bhagalpur.
The awardees included Ananya Nijhawan, Amelia Bhakoo, Satvik Bhatia, Kaamil Sabharwal, Sanay Bhaskar, Madhav Jagga and Aanya Tiwari. The academy felicitated Arun Dhand, Anupam Kumaria and Anuj Dhand for representing India at the International Masters Championship held in Thailand.
