One of the two patients was a 65-year-old man from Kapurthala.  The second patient was a 62-year-old woman from Basti Jodhewal in Ludhiana.

They had both tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday, DMCH Medical Superintendent Dr Ashwani Chaudhary said.

Both had pre-existing health conditions—the woman had heart problems and the man had hypertension.
