Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated with fervour at educational institutes of the region. Families of soldiers, who sacrificed their lives during Kargil War, were felicitated.

Office bearers of Rotary Club led by president Dr Puneet Dhawan and former assistant governor Dr Ravinder Sharma said functions were organised on the occasion. “We just want to tell you that their sacrifice has made your families special for the public,” said Dr Puneet Dhawan while talking to proud parents of martyr Mushtaq Ahmed of Dehliz Kalan village.
