Ludhiana, July 27

In a first, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) today installed a flour kneading machine at the Central Jail, Ludhiana, to make bread for jail inmates in a clean and hygienic manner. Earlier, it was done manually with hands.

During their visits to the jail premises, Munish Singal, Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, DLSA, and PS Kaleka, DLSA Secretary-cum-CJM, had noticed that the work of kneading flour for making bread was not being done in a clean manner.
