The deceased's father, Pala Ram, told the police that on February 9, he received a call informing him that his daughter had hanged herself to death. When they rushed to her house, Rozy's in-laws said that she had never mentioned any problem and was always happy in the company of her children.

Pala Ram stated that shortly before her death, his daughter had made a video in which she had made serious allegations against her landlord. Sources said Rozy recorded several video clips on her mobile phone before taking the extreme step.

In these videos, she expressed her anguish and directly blamed her landlord, Satnam, alias Tinka, for her death. Rozy described the mental torture and blackmail she had endured for a long time.
