Ludhiana, July 24

Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala has courted another controversy by allegedly uttering certain words against lawyers in his song “Sanju” which was released recently. The lyrics include “Vakil Ainwi Aava Tava Bolde”. The official video of the song is likely to be released on July 26 through his Youtube channel.

A city-based lawyer has filed a complaint seeking registration of an FIR against Shubhdeep Singh, alias Sidhu Moosewala, for uttering words against the legal fraternity in his latest song.

The same lawyer has earlier filed a complaint against Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant, which was withdrawn following a compromise. He had also filed a complaint against star Salman Khan, which was dismissed by the Court of Judicial Magistrate Sumit Sabharwal on March 27, 2018, with the costs of Rs 10,000/, which was deposited by the lawyer with the District Legal Services Authority(DLSA).

Taking note of the application, Judicial Magistrate Sarvesh Singh has sought a status report from the Salem Tabri SHO on the allegations mentioned in the complaint. The case would come up for hearing on July 27. — OC
