The legal fraternity celebrated Lohri on Monday. “Festivals like Lohri strengthen social bonds. Such celebrations within court premises help build a positive atmosphere between the Bar and the Bench,” said District and Sessions Judge Harpreet Kaur Randhawa.

She was addressing a gathering during a celebration organised by the District Bar Association (DBA).

DBA president Vipin Saggar and secretary Himanshu Walia welcomed judges, advocates and other dignitaries. The programme featured poetry and shayari presented by advocates.

Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain and Municipal Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal joined celebrations as well.
