Ludhiana MC organises loan camp for street vendors
Camp at Ludhiana MC's Zone C office to promote PM Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (SVANidhi)
The Municipal Corporation on Saturday organised a PM Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (SVANidhi) camp at its Zone C office on Gill Road.
The camp was aimed at ensuring the welfare of street vendors and promoting government schemes.
The camp saw enthusiastic participation from street vendors from across the city. At the camp, officials spread awareness about PM SVANidhi and its services such as loan sanctions, disbursement and credit card for street vendors.
MC Joint Commissioner Vineet Kumar, Zonal Commissioner Gurpal Singh and PM SVANidhi state mission manager Sandeep Kumar were among the officials present. A team from Lead Bank at the drive was led by Gurdeep Singh.
Vineet Kumar emphasised on inclusive growth of street vendors and said this initiative brings essential services directly to the street vendors.
Gurpal Singh highlighted the MC’s commitment to ensuring transparent governance and digital empowerment.
