Ludhiana: Over 190 cyclists zoom through city during 38-km rally

At least 190 participants cycled through the city during a 38-km cycle rally organised as part of the Fit India movement to promote physical fitness, endurance and healthy lifestyle among the youth.

The rally was organised by 19 Punjab Battalion National Cadet Corps (NCC).

The participants comprised of 162 cadets and 28 officials.

The rally started from 19 Punjab Battalion NCC Ludhiana and ended at Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha Marg, Sarabha. Avon Cycles provided 50 bicycles for the event.

Lieutenant Colonel Faizan Zahoor, NCC Commanding Officer, addressed the cadets and highlighted the significance of fitness discipline and perseverance in daily life.

As the rally progressed through Pakhowal Road and adjoining areas, the local community warmly welcomed the cadets with applause and appreciated their dedication.
