A man was found murdered on the Gehlewal link road here yesterday. The body was found in a sack.
Investigating officer ASI Partap Singh said foul smell was emanating from the area yesterday. When the police searched the area, they recovered a sack lying in the bushes.
“When we opened the sack, we found a mutilated body inside it. It seemed that after committing the crime, suspects put the body in the sack and dumped it in the bushes,” the ASI said. Area residents were being questioned to get any clue about the suspects.
The Jodhewal police have registered a case of murder against unknown persons. The police are scrutinising CCTV cameras to get any clue about the suspects.
